Designer note: I’ve always loved both art and science, one taught me to dream, the other taught me precision. These rolling pins are where the two meet.

About the Artist:

Anjali Tambde is a multi-disciplinary designer whose creative world is shaped by art, fashion, sugarcraft, and nature, where craftsmanship meets storytelling. Her design journey began long before cakes entered the picture, rooted in painting and formal art training. Raised in an environment where creativity and science was part of daily life, guided by her mother’s influence as an artist, Anjali explored multiple mediums and developed a deep sensitivity to colour, composition, and texture. In her early years, this dedication was recognised through national-level art achievements, including A+ distinctions in graded art examinations, helping form the disciplined, detail-driven eye that defines her work today.

With that artistic foundation, Anjali built an award-winning career in the fashion industry, known for refined finishes and an appreciation for surface design, fabric textures, borders, motifs, and the quiet luxury of intricate detailing. Over time, her passion expanded from wearable art to edible art, and she brought her couture sensibility into the cake world. There too, her work has been celebrated, earning awards within the cake industry for its originality, precision, and elevated design language.

Anjali is the founder of Global Cake Toppers and Sugarcraft Classes, where she shares advanced techniques and a design-led approach to sugarcraft. She is also an international cake show judge, including Cake International, and a Guinness World Records title holder. Her expertise and credibility within the industry had also led to roles such as ambassador for the Italian sugar paste brand Saracino, reflecting her commitment to premium materials and high-end finishing.

At the heart of Anjali’s work is a consistent source of inspiration: nature. From the rhythm of petals and the symmetry of florals to the elegance of birds, feathers, and organic pattern, she often looks to the natural world as a design language of its own—timeless, intricate, and effortlessly luxurious. Flowers, birds, and botanical forms appear as recurring themes across her creative output, alongside textile-inspired geometry and heritage motifs.

This is where her rolling pin collections come in—designed as a bridge between her worlds. Each rolling pin is created to translate the beauty of weaves, the richness of traditional pattern, the movement of brushstrokes, and the poetry of nature into edible texture. The result is a tool that doesn’t just emboss a design, it helps you create couture-inspired cakes with depth, narrative, and a signature finish. Whether you’re imprinting delicate florals, regal bird motifs, or textile-like borders, these designs are made to elevate your work with a refined, luxury impression turning every bake into a piece of art.
